Time With PaPa

My Dad, Papa, flew out to help Lou drive to Tennessee. We enjoyed spending time with him, even if it was only for one day!

Fair Winds and Following Seas

Buttercup and I joined Lou's wonderful colleagues from work at a farewell luncheon in his honor. He received a nice plaque displaying all the projects he has worked on at China Lake. We realize, as we prepare to move, that it is our friends here (our family away from Ohio) that we will miss the most. On to Tennessee and Naval Support Activity Mid-South.

Chinese New Year

Today Snapdragon's class visited my kindergarten class to celebrate Chinese New Year. After a fun morning of learning more about this Chinese tradition, we enjoyed some Chinese food together. Snapdragon did very well with the chopsticks!

A Present for Snapdragon

We decided to give Snapdragon her birthday present from us a little early because Lou is getting ready to travel to Tennessee. The girls had fun playing with the store.

Enjoying Small World

Buttercup turned 11 on January 3. We took advantage of the offer to get a free ticket to Disneyland on your birthday and made one last visit before heading to Tennessee. Lou starts his new job on Feb. 2. We need lots of prayers to sell the house so the girls and I can follow soon.
