Ladybug Girl

Snapdragon dressed as a favorite book character for school today to celebrate Read Across America month. She is Ladybug Girl from the book Ladybug Girl and Bumble Bee Boy. I was noticing all of the bruises on her legs and the nice one on her right arm. She is such a rough and tumble girl! I dressed as Bella Swan from Twilight. Woo-hoo, free jeans day for me!

Spring Break

We had a wonderful visit with friends and family in Cincinnati. We were so busy that I didn't take very many pictures. I was able to connect with a few friends I haven't seen in over a year. Thanks, Gayle and Denise!

We all got hair-cuts thanks to Megan and we even celebrated my Mom's birthday. Of course, there was lots of shopping and a fun trip to the circus. Snapdragon had Travis sleep over at Grandma's and Buttercup was able to sleep over at Morgan's. She even went to Morgan's school for lunch!

Back to reality today...cleaning and yard work await. It is beautiful outside!

Treasure Hunt

Snapdragon's class went on a treasure hunt at school today and they paid a visit to my room at school. I love teaching at the same school that she attends! I get to see her while I work!

Birthday Party Day!

Late night cleaning and baking.
More cleaning and prep in the morning.
Glitter covering every square inch of the floor.
Two hours of cute little girl giggles (and some tears).
Smile on birthday girl's face...PRICELESS!

It's official! Snapdragon is four years old! We had our family celebration today and she has invited some of her friends from school to a party at our house next Saturday. On a side note, I painted the picture/collage to hang in Snapdragon's room yesterday. It was good therapy!
