Sorry I haven't posted for awhile, but we have been busy enjoying the spring weather and accomplishing spring cleaning and yard work. It rained on and off this past week, but the days in between have been warm and sunny. It rained last Sunday so I took Snapdragon to the Children's Museum. (photos) Today the girls and I went to the zoo while Lou did some work around the house. Of course, we have all been keeping busy with work and school.

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

We are having a wonderful time with our family in Cincinnati. Last night, we went to the circus. I registered the girls to win a painting by Asia the elephant. Asia painted before the show began. Right before the circus started we hear the announcer say, "Samantha Miller is the winner of Asia's painting and can pick it up at Guest Relations at intermission." Too cool!

Congratulations, Buttercup!

Buttercup was inducted into the National Beta Club today. We are very proud of her achievements! We are the proud parents of two beautiful and smart girls!

Snow Day, Again!

Woo, hoo! Two weeks in a row!!!!!!!!!!!! This time we all went sledding and built a snowman. We actually had snow to work with, not ice. What a nice after Super Bowl treat. Way to go, Saints! Nobody was expecting this snow day.

Happy Birthday, Snapdragon!

Snapdragon is three today! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you....! We celebrated with a quiet party at home. Snapdragon helped make her cake and it was her idea to put the legos on the cake. She loved all of the presents from everyone. Thank you!

Snow (Actually Ice) Day!

NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY....due to a wintry mix of snow and ice! We have been stuck inside for two days because our street is a solid sheet of ice at least 2 inches thick. The sun is shining today so hopefully it will melt. Buttercup has been out "ice skating" across the front lawn and sledding by the lake. Snapdragon went out for about 10 minutes on Friday and declared it was too cold after a failed attempt to make a snowman. It has been nice to get things done around the house since we couldn't venture out. We are hoping the street thaws some today because we want to head to Wal-mart. Woo-hoo...big outing!

Silly Girl and Tired Mommy

Snapdragon has been loving the dress ups lately. Tonight she was putting on a silly show for us. We are all adjusting to my new work schedule, but I am tired! Lot's of running around after school between dance and basketball. Crazy, crazy, crazy! The school and the kids are really wonderful! I just need to get used to the planning and grading again. I bought a new steam cleaner for hard floors today and I love it! I think the kitchen floor is the cleanest I have seen it since we moved into the house.
